2015 Four Way Test Winner

The Rotary Club of Gettysburg is pleased to announce Hannah Baddick as the winner of its annual Four-Way Test essay contest for ninth grade English students. Seventeen students from Mrs. Turner’s and Mr. Murren’ s 9th grade English classes at Gettysburg High School submitted essays. The Four-Way Test is a set of four questions that Rotarians use to assist in the conduct of their personal and professional lives. The questions are: “Is it the truth? Is it fair to all concerned? Will it build good will and better friendships? Will it be beneficial to all concerned?” The theme of this year’s contest was “The Four Way Test in My Life.”

The Club awarded Hannah Baddick with a monetary award of $100 for her winning essay. Hannah’s essay will be forwarded to the District level where the winning Essays from all participating District Clubs will be judged and a monetary prize will be awarded to the first, second and third place winners.
