former club president Charles Eicholtz provided initial funds for a
scholarship fund.
Those funds have been added to over the years and today those
invested funds allow the club to continue to make awards each year
to the area's outstanding students.
All four students and their parents were honored at a club
meeting on June 1st, 2009.
The Rotary Club of Gettysburg is a community based
service club formed in 1920. The Rotary Club of Gettysburg
makes awards of nearly $40,000 each year to community programs
through its scholarship and community funds.
